Assoc. Prof. Cole-Sinclair is a haematopathologist, currently Head, Laboratory Haematology at SVHM and a clinical haematologist in the SVHM Clinical Haematology service. She supervises diagnostic Haematology and transfusion laboratory services for SVHM campuses and external clients. Assoc. Prof. Cole-Sinclair has served as Chief Examiner (Haematology), Chair of the Haematology and Advisory Chairs Committees and Board member for the RCPA, Chair of the Australian Committee of Joint College Training in Haematology (RACP/RCPA) and Chair of the Transfusion Outcomes Research Collaborative (Australian Red Cross Blood Service and Monash University). She is currently a member of the National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council, the Serious Transfusion Incident Reporting Expert Group [DHHS Victoria] and the Council of the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine. She is a Life Member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion and the Pitney Fellow of the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand. She holds Honorary appointments to the Pathology Department of the University of Melbourne and the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Monash University.
