| Collection Instructions | Using a swab moistened with sterile saline, wipe away excess mucous- discharge from the surface. Rub a TransSwab against the inflammed area of the vulva/labia. Place swab in transport medium. A Virocult swab should be used if investigation for Herpes virus is requested. | ||
