Associate Professor Glenn Ward

Associate Professor Glenn Ward holds several appointments at St. Vincent's Hospital including
Clinical Consultant in Clinical Biochemistry, the Head of the Diabetes Services at St. Vincent's Hospital, Deputy Director of the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes and Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne's Department of Pathology to name a few.
Glenn is the immediate past president of the Australian Diabetes
Society and was an executive board member of Diabetes Australia
National. He is the current chairperson of the Cross
Cultural Communication Committee of Diabetes Australia.
After graduating at the University of Queensland in 1972, he went on to become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Endocrinology), a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Oxford and a
Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists in the UK.
Associate Professor Ward has over 20 years of experience in laboratory based Endocrinology research, including 7 years full time laboratory based
research on the biochemical and physiological aspects of
insulin action. He has over 70 publications in the fields of Endocrinology and Diabetes. |
