Associate Professor Ken Opeskin
FRCPA MD MBBS
A graduate of The University of New South Wales, Dr Opeskin currently works as an Anatomical Pathologist at St. Vincent's Hospital and is Associate Professor at The Department of Pathology, University of Melbourne.
He trained in general pathology at Westmead and Royal Prince Alfred hospitals in Sydney, obtained his Fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 1988 and Doctor of Medicine degree in 2000.
He has worked as an Anatomical Pathologist at St. John of God Pathology as well as Forensic Neuropathologist and Forensic Pathologist, and has had a senior lectureship in The Faculty of Medicine, Monash University.
In addition to being a fellow of The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia he is a member of the International Academy of Pathology and member of the Australian Society of Cytology.
Research interests include aspects of prostate and lung cancer and diffuse large cell lymphoma. |
